Why having a home is an important issue?

"Home has always been a gathering place, shelter, and sanctuary, providing escape from the busyness and intrusiveness of the world." (Allen M, 2016)

Home have diferent symbolic meanings embedded in the physical design of houses and projected onto them by the belief systems within which our lives play out.

But nowdays home has become a more problematic notion, because of everyday encounters with our homeless fellow citizens, home has become a more problematic notion, because of everyday encounters with our homeless fellow citizens.

The Road Home uses a housing first model to help solve the issues of homelessness.

The Road Home UT is an agency that is ocused on providing assistance to homeless and low-income individuals and families. 

This agency wants to reduce and even end chronic homelessness.
